Our Story

Born from the heartland of the American Cattle Industry and nestled deep in the Texas Panhandle, July Woodworks owes its heritage and namesake to the family cow & calf operation, July Cattle Co.

Long before July Woodworks, there was July Cattle Co. The owner and founder of July Woodworks, Clay, labored on this family-owned ranch for most of his early and late childhood years; he spent long days under the hot Texas sun, driving cattle, riding broncos, and tending to the ranch. Here, amid the plains and fields of the midwest, Clay forged an iron work ethic and a strong passion for working with his hands. Years later, he remembers the lessons learned as a ranch hand and weaves these lessons into his work. Thus was born July Woodworks. The July Woodworks logo, or brand, is the same brand that has been used for decades to mark the cattle raised by July Cattle Co.

Today, only the finest handcrafted woodworking projects earn the privilege of wearing this same family brand.
